STEAM EDUCATION: INSPIRING INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY
Our STEAM programme for Grades 5 to 9 integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. By combining technical skills with creativity and design thinking, students develop innovation, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Grade 5: Students explored 3D design and printing using Tinkercad and were introduced to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning through activities such as object detection, text and speech recognition, and garbage sorting.
Grade 6: Students advanced their 3D modelling and printing skills by designing models such as hearts, dice, and mini rulers. They also explored AI concepts, chatbots, OCR, and emotion recognition.
Grade 7: Students discovered electronics, Arduino programming, and Python. They built projects including LED systems and a Smart Dustbin, while exploring data handling and basic AI prediction models.
Grade 8: Students developed advanced Arduino projects such as traffic lights and automated school bells. They also explored regression, classification, clustering, and Python-based AI projects using real-world data.
Grade 9: Students delved deeper into Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Neural Networks, and Natural Language Processing. A key highlight was their drone project, integrating science, engineering, programming, and design thinking.
Through 3D printing, AI, coding, electronics, and drone technology, the STEAM programme empowers students to become creative problem-solvers, responsible digital citizens, and future-ready innovators.
