CELEBRATING 75 YEARS WITH CARE AND COMPASSION
Std. V – Animal Care Outreach
As part of the outreach programme, 147 students of Standard V visited The Bai Sakarbai Dinshaw Petit Hospital for Animals, Parel, on 6th February 2025. The visit aimed to create awareness about animal welfare and nurture compassion towards living beings.
Students observed various animals, including cats, dogs, cows, calves, horses, and birds receiving medical care. They also visited the OPD section and witnessed veterinary doctors providing treatment with dedication and care.
To support the cause, students contributed from their pocket money, and the collected funds were donated towards the purchase of essential medical equipment for animal healthcare. Food items such as rice, vegetables, and biscuits were also donated for the animals.
The programme was a meaningful learning experience that fostered empathy, kindness, responsibility, and social awareness among the students, reflecting the spirit of service and compassion upheld by Auxilium Convent School.


Std. VI – Grandparents Outreach
On 9th February 2026, 21 students of Class VI visited St. Anthony Home for the Aged, Bandra, as part of the school’s outreach programme aimed at fostering compassion, gratitude, and respect for the elderly.
The students contributed by saving their own money and collectively donated essential items, including wheelchairs, a weighing machine, diapers, toiletries, snacks, fruits, and beverages for the residents.
A short cultural programme was presented, featuring a welcome address, a Marathi dance, speeches, a poem, and interactive games. These activities brought joy to the elderly residents and created meaningful bonds between generations.
The visit was a valuable learning experience that helped students understand the importance of empathy, care, and respect for elders. They returned with hearts full of gratitude and cherished memories, enriched by the joy of sharing time and love with the residents.


Std. VII – Outreach to Destitute Children
As part of its outreach programme, Auxilium Convent High School organised a visit to Vatsalya Trust Balikashram, Sanpada, on 13th January 2026. The visit involved the RSP students and Guide Patrol Leaders of Std. VII, accompanied by the Principal, Sr. Gloria Ferrao, and teachers.
The programme included a prayer service, songs, games, a keychain-making activity, and a dance promoting environmental awareness. The students and children of the Trust interacted joyfully, creating an atmosphere of friendship and happiness. A special rap performance by a child from the Trust added to the excitement of the day.
As a gesture of care and support, the students donated thermos flasks, handkerchiefs, fruits, dry fruits, and snacks for the children and staff. The Trust, in turn, gifted stationery kits to the visiting students.
The visit was a deeply enriching experience that helped students understand the value of empathy, sharing, and selfless service. It reinforced the joy of giving and strengthened their commitment to becoming compassionate and socially responsible individuals.


Std. VIII – Outreach to Specially-Abled Children
As part of its outreach programme, the students of Std. VIII visited Jai Vakeel Foundation, Cotton Green, Mumbai, on 20th February 2024. A total of 38 students, accompanied by teachers and a parent representative, participated in this meaningful experience.
The visit began with an orientation session that introduced students to the Foundation’s work in supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through education, vocational training, and life-skills development. This helped create awareness about inclusivity, empathy, and social responsibility.
The school contributed towards the welfare of the institution by donating cupboards, dry fruits, and hand puppets. Students then engaged in interactive activities, including dance, football, and dodgeball, fostering friendship, teamwork, and joyful interaction with the residents.
The outreach programme was a heartwarming and enriching experience that strengthened the values of inclusion, compassion, and service. It left a lasting impact on the students and reinforced the importance of respecting and supporting every individual.


Std. IX – Outreach to Young Girls
On 31st January 2026, 41 students of Class IX visited Jeevandhara Kannya Ashram, Dhanu, as part of the school’s outreach programme. Accompanied by the Principal, teachers, and a hike instructor, the students spent a meaningful day interacting with and supporting the girls of the ashram.
As an expression of care and solidarity, the students raised funds to donate a complete band set to the school and presented gifts and stationery to the ashram girls. Educational books were also gifted to encourage learning and awareness.
The students conducted band and march-past training sessions, creative activities such as earring and bracelet making, and a variety of games that fostered friendship and joyful interaction. Prayer, music, cultural exchanges, and a shared meal further strengthened the bonds between the students and the ashram community.
The visit was a deeply enriching experience that promoted compassion, leadership, service, and empowerment. It helped students appreciate the value of sharing their talents and resources while inspiring confidence, joy, and hope among the young girls. The programme truly reflected the spirit of empathy, solidarity, and social responsibility.


Std. X – Outreach to Cancer Patients
On 24th January 2026, sixteen students of Std. X visited St. Jude India Child Care Centres, Cotton Green, accompanied by their teachers. The outreach programme aimed to foster empathy, social responsibility, and compassion while offering encouragement to children undergoing cancer treatment.
The students interacted with the children through action songs, dance, and a creative wristband-making activity, creating moments of joy, friendship, and togetherness. Snacks were distributed, and the school donated a sewing machine to support the centre’s skill-development initiatives for caregivers and families.
During a guided tour of the residential facility, students gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by children undergoing treatment and the support provided to their families. The visit offered valuable lessons in gratitude, resilience, and humanity.
The programme was a meaningful and transformative experience that reinforced the values of kindness, service, and community engagement. Through their interaction and support, the students experienced the true joy of giving while bringing smiles and hope to the children and their families.
