Mary Mazzarello Feast

Auxilium Convent High School, Wadala joyfully celebrated the Feast of St. Mary Mazzarello, the co-founder of the Salesian Sisters. The event involved students from Classes 5th to 10th, who participated wholeheartedly in the celebrations. The day began with a bracelet-making activity. Students created colourful bracelets as a symbol of unity and service, reflecting the helping nature of St. Mary Mazzarello. This activity reminded them to use their talents for good, just like she did. After the activity, students were taken to the school hall for the main programme. The programme began with a warm welcome and introduction, setting the tone for a meaningful celebration. This was followed by the presentation of saplings to the sisters symbolizing growth, life, and Mary Mazzarello’s nurturing spirit. A beautiful prayer service was conducted, helping everyone reflect on her deep faith and love for God. The students then presented a poem cum skit, creatively highlighting her inspiring journey. This was followed by a touching play that showcased her service, courage, and care for young girls. The programme also included a vibrant dance performance, celebrating her joyful and generous spirit. Sr. Rita addressed the gathering with an inspiring message, encouraging everyone to walk in the footsteps of St. Mary Mazzarello with love and commitment. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, appreciating all the efforts that made the day special. The entire programme was a beautiful blend of devotion, creativity, and joy, reminding us of the lasting legacy of St. Mary Mazzarello.
