The Marathi Club, consisting of 80 students, actively promotes and celebrates the rich culture and language of Marathi. The club aims to cultivate a deeper appreciation for Marathi by engaging students in various creative activities. Held every Tuesday, these sessions encourage students to explore the beauty of the language and its heritage. The club has been instrumental in organizing several noteworthy events. Marathi speech was delivered, and on Gratitude Day, students showcased a vibrant Koli Dance performance. The club presented a Marathi speech and a choir performance, highlighting the significance of the day. During Marathi Week , students recited prayers, the Constitution, and inspiring thoughts in Marathi, along with performances such as the Gondhal Dance and soulful songs dedicated to Vitthal and Rakhumai. The club also featured a portrayal of Sir Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar, offering insights into his life, along with presentations on notable Marathi writers and poets. In honor of Shiv Jayanti, a special dance commemorating the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was performed.Through these diverse activities, the Marathi Club fosters a love for the language and its cultural heritage, enriching students’ understanding and appreciation of Marathi literature, history, and traditions.
