Dandiya Dhamaal 2025

The much-awaited Dandiya Dhamaal 2025 was held on 16th October 2025 from 6:00 p.m. onwards in the school quadrangle of Auxilium Convent High School, Wadala. Despite a brief spell of rain, the event witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of around 450 participants, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.

The celebration was organized by the Alumni of the Past Pupils’ Association, Wadala Unit, who put in great effort to make the evening memorable. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Sr. Rita D’Souza along with other dignitaries, invoking God’s blessings for the evening. Sr. Rita then officially declared the Dandiya Dhamaal 2025 open, marking the start of a vibrant night of music, dance, and fellowship. The crowd swayed to the rhythmic beats of the dandiya and garba, enjoying every moment of the cultural extravaganza. A well-arranged canteen service headed by our president Ms. Elydia Fernandes and her team, offered a variety of delicious snacks and refreshments, adding flavour to the festive spirit. Ms. Diana D’Souza efficiently compered the event, ensuring a smooth flow of activities throughout the evening. Special thanks were extended to Mr. Aurelius D’Souza for providing excellent sound and DJ services, which kept the energy high and the dance floor alive.

The event concluded on a joyful note, with heartfelt gratitude expressed to the organizing committee and volunteers for their dedication and teamwork in making Dandiya Dhamaal 2025 a grand success — an evening filled with colour, rhythm, and camaraderie that will be fondly remembered by all.
